What a change, shorts one day, winter woolies the next, the rain however has been very good.
Good to see members putting up their hand to help President Elect Jenny Alexander complete her board for next year. We’ll done.
Unfortunately, Mobilong needed to postpone their Christmas party due to the weather, however we look forward to celebrating with them in January.
Thursday night we had our Presidents meeting at Bridgewater Inn, as always, a good information night, hearing what the other clubs are doing and exchange ideas.
With the year’s end fast approaching we look forward to our Christmas party to see what Santa might bring us or not.

AGM Report
Rotary Club of Murray Bridge President Gordon Schultz and President Elect Jenny Alexander- Walters at the AGM last Tuesday evening reported the Club was still churning out projects in support of the local and international community and thanked their Directors, members and partners for their continued passion and efforts for the first 6 months of this Rotary year. Rotary provides seven avenues of service with Directors leading each group. Treasurer Sam Cozens highlighted the skills among many Rotarians in seeking grants to develop projects as well as fund raising. Community Director Jim Cundy outlined a suite of projects completed along with a new one being planned at the Monarto Safari Park. RALY Rotary Assisting Local Youth Director Simon Sickerdick"s group very successfuly introduced a different youth initiative with an environmental focus at the Calperum Youth Camp for year 6 Murraylands Primary School Students. International Director Roxanne Rowland's group had a busy year including the Playgrounds to Mongolia Project. Vocational Director Lyn Sickerdick progressed the Music for Dementure project with 54 headphones having now been distributed and the music library enhanced. Julianne Sissman was congratulated on her first year as secretary for the Club. Other projects reported on included the Calendar Project, Murraylands Multicultural Network, and the Rotary Art Show. Three Murraylands Rotary Clubs Murray Bridge, Mobilong, and Tailem Bend joined together in a game of Putt putt golf at the Avoca Dell Caravan Park at Eastside Murray Bridge resulting in raising money for two Shelter Boxes valued at $2,000 for overseas disaster use with thanks to a $1000 donation from Laurence and Kim Crack the Park's owners. It was a great fun night in perfect spring weather the frogs were croacking in the bilabong and the birds were singing in between the laughter of the Rotarians and their partners. The Rotary Club of Mobilong won the shield and Rotary Action enabled more support for those less fortunate than ourselves.
