Congratulations to Rob Walters and his band of merry people for their work on the transportable buildings for Plains Mice at Monarto Zoo, receiving a Premier’s Reward of $400.00 for their hard work.
Tuesday, we look forward to the participating students who went on the recent Calperum Camp, well done Simon Sickerdick on putting in a lot of hard work organising to make it all happen.
Blaze Aid have been around the flooded areas of Murray Bridge assessing the damage and think there could be three-months of work repairing fencing, I’m sure we will get a call up at some stage so be prepared.

Place of Courage Artwork Launch in Murray Bridge

Project Creative Courage
To coincide with the Murray Bridge Ripple launch Murray Bridge Highschool and Unity College students have created artworks responding to the question 'what does a loving community look like.' The students work can be viewed at Murray Bridge Regional Gallery after the launch.

Music Award - MB High School
The Murray Bridge High School hosted the Rotary Club of Murray Bridge on Tuesday evening with the School Council in appreciation of the Rotary Music Bursary awarded this year to Year 10 Music Student Drew Bettcher. The Rotary Club has had a long association with the school in music donating $10,000 to building the Music Suite in the early 2000's, donating instruments, and tuition as part of a Music Bursary. Drew will be putting the $1000 received for the Bursary towards a laptop which will enable him to mix music programs to continue his music studies. It's part of the Club's Rotary Assisting Local Youth program. He entertained the audience along with fellow students Cooper Clark, Kiara Parkinson, Vocalists Relryl Pangpang, Siena Fountain Barr and supported by Music Teacher Blake Ascione. The Year 10's are taught by Jack Love. Coordinator Creative Design Choo Lee Long who has a portfolio of seven subjects to oversee including Music introduced the students.
Murray Bridge High School Principal Ruth Mussger thanked Rotary and explained the cultural significance of the space in the Sturt Building connecting with the River Murray and the Ngarindjerri Totems designed by the Year 9 Technical Studies students. Ruth has been reappointed MBHS principal till 2029 a well deserved appointment. Congratulations Ruth.

The Rotary Club of Murray Bridge in conjunction with Heart of the Nation are seeking to create a complete list of defibrillators or AED's in the Murray Bridge area and add them to the phone app to ensure immediate access is available should the need arise.
