Christmas Meeting
The Rotary Club of Murray Bridge held its Christmas party on Tuesday at the Murray Bridge Golf Club. President Elect Jenny Alexander- Walters and her Club Service Committee kept the party moving. Jenny Phillips and Lisa Scerri entertained the children with a Christmas story. The Harmony Trio plus 2 kept all of us entertained with their songs and carols. Jingle Bells brought the Big Guy in the Red suite with presents for the children. The golf club delivered a tasty meal and everyone went away happy. A feature of the night was seeing the Rotarians and their children and grandchildren together enjoying themselves. Family is everything!!!! John Scarvelis

Three Murraylands Rotary Clubs Murray Bridge, Mobilong, and Tailem Bend joined together in a game of Putt putt golf at the Avoca Dell Caravan Park at Eastside Murray Bridge resulting in raising money for two Shelter Boxes valued at $2,000 for overseas disaster use with thanks to a $1000 donation from Laurence and Kim Crack the Park's owners. It was a great fun night in perfect spring weather the frogs were croacking in the bilabong and the birds were singing in between the laughter of the Rotarians and their partners. The Rotary Club of Mobilong won the shield and Rotary Action enabled more support for those less fortunate than ourselves. Also a special thanks to Jedz Pizza of Murray Bridge for the donation of Pizza. John Scarvelis
