WEEKLY CHATTER – 16th JUNE 2024

As my year comes to an end, we start the round of Changeovers. Hopefully you have all replied to the Changeover invitation. Preparations are well underway; it will be a great night, one to look forward to.
Our last BBQ is at the Callington Camp-out on Friday night 21st June and   breakfast Saturday 22nd June. Please contact John Whimpress if you’re able to help, John still requires a couple of helpers.
At Club Assembly last Tuesday night, we heard the reports from Club Directors of the yearly achievements with over 57 events throughout the year. What a truly amazing achievement, thanks to everyone who supported all of these projects.
On Saturday, it appears the forces of evil are at work with somebody taking over Sam Cozens email and impersonating him. Sounds a little scary having two Sam’s…… Please follow the advice sent by Robin LeGallez regarding these emails.
That’s it see you Tuesday night and we will see how many Sam’s turn up.
Cheers Gordon.

Sunday 2nd June was a day for friends either old or new as they joined around a table for a meal.
Thanks to the five hosts (Jenny & Rob Walters, Julieanne Sissman, Bev & John Scarvelis, Vicki & Jim Mason and Rhonda & Robin LeGallez) for opening their homes and providing a meal for up to 8 people. Twenty eight guests were all phoned on Sunday morning to advise them of their destination and the hosts found out who their guest were as they opened the door.
